The pledge, the turn, and the prestige

Johnaerica (the name of the baby on my face) has gone through the three steps of creating a magic trick: the pledge, which almost killed me; the turn, which was interesting to say the least; and now, the LOVELY PRESTIGE! It's 99% GONE. Those were some serious antibiotics, and I highly recommend 'em to anyone like me who has an abnormal tolerance to all meds.

Not only did I wrap all presents (I still have to get a few more things), but also went grocery shopping around 9 last night. THAT NEVER HAPPENS. Got home, unpacked groceries, divided Christmas schtuffs and normal schtuffs and put them in different sections of the fridge and pantry so that I can grab both and run on Christmas night for deenar. I /never/ feel good enough to do all that in a DAY these days. WTH antibiotics?

So while I'm STILL feeling industrious, I'm going to let the weather climb a few notches and then head out (finally) to Rugged. I also wanted to go by Steinmart in search of a specific thang, and might do that, too. For the first time ever, I'll be through with Christmas BEFORE Christmas eve. That never happens.

Gotta love the magic show on my face that forced me to take my medicine like a good girl.

Wow, well done you, with all that present wrapping AND grocery shopping! I've gotta do that tomorrow. Just a little... just Christmas dinner dessert and so on. Aaagh, tomorrow is going to be CRAZY!

Ah! TODAY, I finally finished /everything/. Right now, I'm in the process of wrapping presents (few left). I don't like the cheap paper I had to use this year, but man...we know I'm not working and if it's $1 for four rolls, Imma buy it.

Same here...virtually no work, low income, we buy small pressies through the year as I can afford them, and wrapping paper is whatever is on cheap.

Last year, I was using premium paper (reversible, no less), and making these opulent bows (I still have some, but all that stuff is packed and out of my eyesight). I made it all shiny and sparkly, though, buy buying some inexpensive ribbon and curling it.

Hey there, T. Wish I could fly down and help you get the Christmas meal prepared. Not for the eating part, but just so you could get it all done -- just for something to /do/ when I'm not at work this week. I don't remember being this restless last Christmas.

I will survive!

That's sweet, but I've got it half done/prepared. This is the first year I've done it, so it's kinda special. Thanks, though.

Here is Belladonna, the Lady of the Rocks,
The lady of situations.
Here is the man with three staves, and here the Wheel,
And here is the one-eyed merchant, and this card
Which is blank, is something that he carries on his back,
Which I am forbidden to see. I do not find
The Hanged Man. Fear death by water.
I see crowds of people, walking round in a ring.
Thank you. If you see dear Mrs. Equitone,
Tell her I bring the horoscope myself;

One must be so careful these days.
