Okay. Now I'm wondering what all of that's supposed to mean? Er...I'm confused. I had adopted parents, and my bio parents' history, so technically, both my bios were college grads, as well as all four bio-grandparents (which was unusual back then).

The purpose of this meme was what again? O.o

I'm not sure what its purpose is as a meme, but it looks like a fairly standard data-gathering list of social status items for statistical purposes. Perhaps it has a tracker code in it, so that every time it's deployed, the information is traceable for some vast survey?

I don't know, but it makes me feel like I grew up in a privileged home, when really, we were just like everyone else. With lessons. And a car. And a T.V. in my bedroom.

Argh.

Still, I was on someone's payroll (legally) from the age of 14 to date. It doesn't ask all that. ;p And I can't help it that I went to a private school.

Why am I explaining myself? LOL

yeah... that ol' guilt tripping thing again!
I can't do it, as I'm a free LJ member and therefore don't have formatting like bold and italic.

I consider governmental education funding as private trust or "all others". :) I did, however, CLEP out of a few classes, simply because I knew the subject matter.

This means we're both spoiled, I'm thinking. Or so an outsider might think if they read all this.

I'm about to respond to your comments (yikes!). My hands were really sore this morning when I first got up :)

You've tried soaking them in warm water, haven't you? That works for me on 'stiff-hand' days.

I actually wrapped them up in a heating pad. That worked a bit.

so you were a spoiled rich kid! LOL! Just kidding... I think that the survey is implying that you were "privileged", but many of those I don't think of in that way...

Seeeeeeee, but it neglected to ask if I worked as a teenager. I had a full-time job by the time I was 14 until last year! So I paid for my own things (clothes, t.v., etc.). I did, however, take MANY classes -- ballet, piano, trumpet, singing -- so I suppose some would consider that privileged. I dunno. Receiving a new car at the age of 15 was ONLY because I maintained a straight A average on my report card. ;p

still, the previous pic was pretty groovy. i liked how it stayed at the same place when i scrolled the page. kinda spooky, like being eyed by some malevolent entity.

Words.

Here is Belladonna, the Lady of the Rocks,
The lady of situations.
Here is the man with three staves, and here the Wheel,
And here is the one-eyed merchant, and this card
Which is blank, is something that he carries on his back,
Which I am forbidden to see. I do not find
The Hanged Man. Fear death by water.
I see crowds of people, walking round in a ring.
Thank you. If you see dear Mrs. Equitone,
Tell her I bring the horoscope myself;

One must be so careful these days.
