Help from girlfriends (and mens, if you have a sense of style or are a metrosexual)

I need to pick a pair of boots/booties to wear with this outfit. Should I go with...

boots or should I go with the booties?

I know they're blurry, but it was a spontaneous photo thing, and I just need to see which suit this skirt/top combo best. The booties are really cute, but you can't tell by this pic.

This is odd, because I was, at first, fairly certain that the over-the-knee boots would be chosen because they're hot this season. Or is it that you two guys just like to see more leg? :>

I am usually a huge fan of boots, but for that particular skirt I would say the shoes. It just seems to work better.

I think you're right. I just /love/ those boots, though and was looking for an excuse to wear 'em. I guess I'll have to stick with boots and jeans. :> Thanks! It helps having a girl's opinion. :)

I'm reading via cellphone, so I can't see your "crapola" pics that well anyway. In which case, I like the shiny boots. I know nothing in fashion outside of t-shirts/hoodies/jeans, but to me the skirt looks too short for the booties. So you have another *boots* vote now. LOL

Off topic: Love the chair behind you. My high school English teacher has/had one. We always had class in his house on campus when it was movie day for whatever book we were studying, so we'd race to get the spacious round chair. =)

Eeee! Which ones are shiny?

I bought that chair in Germany so long ago, and it's outlasted even the spawn. You can't find them shaped like this or this size here in the states (I was going to replace the padding). It's my favorite reading chair :D

I'm waffling between thinking the boots look good and thinking they need to go back to the poor pirate you stole them from (yarrr!).

The pirate boots are the ones you see folded over (or at least that's what everyone is calling them). I'm going with the booties *probably* since everyone seems to like 'em better.

The booties, definitely, with the short skirt. In my opinion the boots make the whole silhouette a little too bottom-heavy... though I bet they'd look great with a longer skirt.

I'd also like to second that request for thigh-high sock photos.
