Like those lyrics. Hahahaha. Gawd. I'm still on my "WHY DID '80s LYRICS HAVE TO BE SO BAD?" kick. I realized this afternoon that er, I haven't made a *real* journal entry (public) for um...yeah. Untraditionally long time. That'll teach me.
WHY YES, I AM TEMPTED TO PUT YET ANOTHER SCREEN CAP UP HERE. DON'T TEMPT ME. And OhhHHh I have a good one. *smirk*
Woah. Victor Alpha gets its sheize straight
It only took what? TWO WEEKS? I spoke with the chick in charge, who is making it happen when it's supposed to. Gotta make a note of that. I wish tomorrow was Friday. Still haven't replaced my groceries from the 575347328942th Great Power Outage of Ze Village 2005 yet. GrrRRRr. Plus, I'm having to deal with...*HAHAHA* adjusters on the ceiling and floors for Kelsey's A.O. and water damage. It bites going to work at ...an unGodly hour, and coming home to take care of MORE business. After last night (and subsequently, commenting thereof), I'm going to take it easy tonight. Although SO much needs to be done in the domestic realm, it an WAIT. So I have a long trip downtown Thursday morning. School's about to start *sob* and work is...work. Today, it was so sweet! A couple of "older" employees -- a man and woman -- had packed a picnic, so when I went to meet my older friend, Mo, I met them, also. Aw =D They were fun to talk to. My affinity for the elderly continues, even at work. Even Mo is what? 20, 30 years' my senior? Close to it. Smart as hellllllll, though, good breeding (heh), extremely interesting and great fun to chat with. I think it's kinda sad that for the past five or so years (or until I came to this company) I'd forgotten the "I'm glad to see you!" look when someone's expecting you. :) It doeth warm the heart.
Brooding, quiet, mysterious and loves the color black
Heh. Sounds like a personal ad. Indeed, after that entry, we got together for WAY TOO LONG today. Gotta watch that. There's a time and place for everything. I'm convinced -- despite his age -- that he's a GREAT guy, his feelings are definitely reciprocated, and ja. There's no time like the present. Although *he* wasn't wearing "our" black garb today, *I* was (which he noticed). We had some lengthy dicussions about my pet peeves (which he shares), my hobbies (ditto!) and social phobias (what're the CHANCES?). If I didn't know any better I'd think he was a twin. It's rare that I connect with anyone like I did with him. And suddenly (or within the past month or so), doors have been swinging with options. But I digress ;)
Didn't get enough sleep last night, so I'll be hitting it TERRIBLY early tonight. Eeeks. Got more mail from my journalism professor today (coolness!) and am now wondering what his angle is. Everybody has one, right? PLUS PLUS, for the brief minute I was TEMPTED to screen cap, I had a gazillion message, one which was from one of my (nooooooo!) exes. Boyfriend, that is. Um...I'd mention what his VERY BEST quality is, but I'm afraid that would be illegal. *snorts* Er...I hope he doesn't read his. Heh.
OMG. I talked to a guy today named John Thomas. What happened? He was driving too fast on dark country roads at midnight, and hit four cows. Hahahahahaha. They could hear me laughing from Nairobi. Funny stuff. :-D The cows lived, of course, but the whole story was...just freakin' hilarious. I had another SERIOUS NECK from Florida who provided mucchos entertainment. :X LOLOL. Gawd -- I must seriously be filing the most bizarre incidences in our company.
I'm sleepy, hungry and must make outfit decision for tomorrow. Besides, I NEED SLEEP, as is evidenced by the typos, and my falling asleep at the monitor.
